Hi, I’m Krista Parkinson. LA resident, Ex-WME Talent Agent, Retired Mormon, former Adjunct Professor at USC School of Cinematic Arts and the current owner of My Grads Get Jobs. I’ve helped nearly 1,000 people get hired in the entertainment business and counting.

My intention with this Substack to share funny stories from my life in the Hollywood vortex to help anyone get ahead in the notoriously tough to break into entertainment business while learning to embrace being unique.

I will speak the truth (as I see it) and offer another point of view on issues of employment, Hollywood, current culture, dating, entry-level employment, mid-career changes and all the advice I wish my younger self would have listened to.
