In this episode of “Coffee with KP,” respected songwriter Annie Roboff talks to my class about her career in the music industry.
Annie Roboff’s songs have been recorded by powerhouses of our time; Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, the Dixie Chicks, Bonnie Raitt, Whitney Houston, Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, Patty Loveless, Jo Dee Messina, Diamond Rio, Rascal Flatts, the Indigo Girls, Leanne Womack, Mary Chapin Carpenter, and many others.
Her exciting career has earned her six #1 hits, CMA song of the year, 4 Grammy Nominations, and a Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Nomination, among many other accolades.
While Annie is best known for writing “This Kiss” by Faith Hill, she has arranged music for TV shows and iconic pop culture moment like Princess Diana’s wedding to Charles, the election music for Ronald Regan when he became President and more!
She recently launched her own Substack (feel free to follow her here) and you can listen to her catalog of music and get more information of her songwriting Masterclass Sunday, October 6, 2024 on Zoom noon-2:30pm PT here.
If you end up attending her Masterclass, please let her know that you heard about it from me. xxoo KP
