Tina Andrews is an NYU graduate and started her career as an actress on the iconic series “Days of Our Lives.” In 2001, she became the first Black woman to win the Writers Guild of America award for Original Long Form for her miniseries “Sally Hemings: An American Scandal," which also won the NAACP Image Award for “Outstanding TV Movie, Miniseries or Special.” Now, she’s developing a series titled “Buckingham” for Max, which is based on her historical novel “Charlotte Sophia” about Queen Charlotte (The same Queen Charlotte from Bridgerton!)
