Meet Jane Lee. She grew up in Singapore and moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. In 2016, she earned her BA in Film and Television Production at USC (and was one of my stellar student when I taught CNTV 375.). After graduating, she got her start at EuropaCorp Films before joining Jon M. Chu at his production company, Electric Somewhere. Since witnessing first hand the cultural effects of films like “Crazy Rich Asians” and “In The Heights”, Jane is now perpetually focused on amplifying new perspectives, championing stories that have not yet been told, and creating meaningful spectacle.
